Tokina just added a new 65mm T1.5 Vista cine prime to their growing set of Vista Vision/large format cinema lenses. Furthermore, the new 65mm Cinema Vista prime, joins the recently announced Tokina 40mm T1.5 Cinema Vista, which you can read more about here.
And, just like the 40mm gave DPs a unique option between the classic 50mm and above 35mm, the new Tokina 65mm T1.5 gives cinematographers a new short telephoto in a highly sought after focal length.
Tokina 65mm T1.5 – a new, natural perspective

Sophisticated Optical Design
In addition, the optical formula of the latest Cinema Vista 65mm T1.5 includes 13 groups with 14 elements. Moreover, the 9 bladed aperture ensures a pleasing, natural and round bokeh. Needless to mention, lens distortion and chromatic aberration are well-controlled, with minimal focus breathing, soft pleasing flare and gentle roll-off from subject to background.
