SmallHD 4K HDR Production Monitors Now Available to Order

SmallHD goes Big with their new 4K HDR Production monitors, now available to pre-order at special introductory pricing. Offering a variety of display panel sizes and high-brightness options, SmallHD’s new 4K HDR Production monitors are simplified in two version – Vision and Cine. And display sizes start from 17-inches and going up to 24-inches. 

Furthermore, SmallHD aims to improve the 4K HDR post-production viewing experience by combining state of the art viewing tech and highly durable construction, required to cope with the rigours of professional video and film production.

The Vision and Cine line of 4K monitors were first introduced in the Fall of last year, and they are now available to order, and they are expected to ship in August and September.

SmallHD Vision 24 and Vision 17 – 4K HDR Production Monitors

The SmallHD Vision 24 is powered by SmallHD’s own Full-Array Local Dimming (FALD) hardware that enables nuanced control of over 2100 zones, rendering hyper-sharp contrasts with deep blacks, crisp highlights, and a stunning 10-bit color depth.

Featuring a more compact 17” display, the Vision 17 is more portable, but still very capable 4K HDR monitor. In addition, this monitor has the same SmallHDR™ dual-modulation hardware as Vision 24. Moreover, the Vision 17 is packed with over 2400 zones, and 1000 nits of brightness to achieve perfect uniformity in contrasts and latitude.

SmallHD OLED 22 – 4K Reference Monitor 

The new SmallHD OLED 22 is new 4K reference monitor space and SmallHD’s new standard for color perfectionists. Furthermore, it featuring a >1,000,000:1 contrast ratio with an absolute black point, and 100% P3 / 135% Rec 709 colour gamuts that generate beautiful, true-to-life colour accuracy.

In addition, according to SmallHD their new OLED 22 has ‘virtually no image degradation at any viewing angle, providing a real-time image as vivid and pristine as the final output’.

The new SmallHD Cine 24 offers 1350nits of sustained brightness for perfect daylight viewing in bright daylight environments, at a more affordable price point. SmallHD calls their new video processing architecture Small4K™ and thus it offers the same whopping 4K Input / Outputs with 4x 12G-SDI hardware and PageOS 4 Quad-View for multiple 4K-input viewing.

In addition, the Cine 24 is lighter and faster to setup making this a good all-around solution video village or director’s monitor on set.
