Sirui has just announced a new 24mm f2.8 1.33x anamorphic lens for crop sensors in various lens mounts including Sony E, MFT, and Nikon Z. Additional lens mounts such as Fuji X and Canon EOS M are also planned.
The new 24mm wide-angle joins the Sirui 50mm f1.8 and 35mm f1.8 1.33x anamorphic lenses the company already offers. And just like the 50mm and 35mm, the Sirui 24mm f2.8 anamorphic covers APS-C and Super 35 sensors.
In addition, the 1.33x squeeze ratio enables users to get that wide, cinematic 2.35:1 aspect ratio on traditional 16×9 sensors.

This is perfect for cameras that do not have a dedicated 4:3 anamorphic shooting mode, although some anamorphic characteristics such as oval bokeh may not be as pronounced as on 1.8x and 2x anamorphic lenses. But those are usually priced significantly higher and in a totally different market segment.
We are certainly hoping that UK lens specialists MTF Services also do another custom RF mount conversion, just like they did with the other two Sirui anamorphic lenses so you can use it on the RED Komodo and EOS C70 cameras.

At this stage, Sirui have not released the full specifications on the lens, but from the limited info available we can see that the lens features the same aircraft aluminium housing as the 50mm and 35mm 1.33x. In addition, the optical design includes German-made Schott glass elements (those are very high-quality) for minimum optical distortion and focus breathing.
From the press images, we can also see the lens is also quite compact and very similar in design with the rest of their anamorphic lenses.
