Sigma has just released Sigma fp firmware v2.00 with expanded RAW support over HDMI, cinemagraph creation and playback, and more. In addition, firmware update v2.00 adds the ability to playback CinemaDNG footage in camera, and also improves autofocus as well as fixes a few bugs and issues.
Furthermore, the Sigma fp is a quirky little camera with a full-frame sensor, native L mount and super-compact body design. It has some really interesting features such as Director’s viewfinder option and internal raw recording.
Blackmagic RAW and ProRes RAW Support
And with the new firmware update v2.00 it will be able to output a signal over HDMI that can be recorded as either ProRes RAW or Blackmagic RAW on compatible external recorders from Atomos and Blackmagic Design.
