RODE Microphones just announced a few new models in their Wireless GO Range. These are the new Wireless GO WhiteLavalier GO White, Interview GO and MagClip GO.

Wireless GO is a super-compact digital wireless microphone system. It is very popular with vloggers, documentary and event filmmakers, wedding videographers and more.

RODE Wireless GO Highlights Features

The Wireless GO transmitter features a built-in omnidirectional condenser capsule. It is encased in a discreet form factor weighing only 31g, making it a truly portable wireless microphone system.

The transmitter/mic clips directly to the talent. However it also features a 3.5mm input for connecting an external microphone like the RØDE Lavalier GO for even greater flexibility.

The Wireless GO receiver features a dual-purpose mount that sits snug in a camera cold shoe or clips securely onto clothing or a camera strap.

Naturally, the system relies on Series III 2.4GHz digital wireless transmission that delivers crystal-clear sound over 70m line-of-sight. In addition, RODE designed it to excel in locations with dense Wi-Fi and Bluetooth activity.

Also, users can rely on a three-stage pad for tailoring the mic output to a camera or recorder and a bright LED screen for monitoring levels and battery life.

Thus, it makes a perfect wireless setup for vloggers as well as filmmakers looking for a discreet, hassle-free wireless audio solution.

Wireless GO White / Lavalier GO White

The original Wireless GO with its sleek black finish blended seamlessly with dark clothing and environments. However, against white clothing and in lighter environments, it’s not so easily concealed. This is why RODE came up with the new Wireless GO White.

It comes with the same features as the black Wireless GO, only the colour of the transmitter and receiver has changed – even the included furry windshields are white!

For those who prefer using a lapel mic with their Wireless GO, the Lavalier GO (sold separately) also now comes in white.

The RODE Microphones Lavalier GO is a professional-grade wearable microphone. As such, it was designed to perform brilliantly in any broadcast application. Naturally, it is a perfect companion for the Wireless GO.

RODE Interview GO

The RODE Interview GO is an adapter that transforms the Wireless GO transmitter into a lightweight wireless handheld mic for reporting to-camera or interviewing in the field.

It comes with a sturdy attachment for the Wireless GO’s cold shoe clip. This helps to secure the mic in place. Also, RODE provides a high-density windshield for reducing plosives and protecting the capsule from wind.

RODE MagClip GO

The MagClip GO is a new magnetic clip that allows for extended flexibility when placing the Wireless GO transmitter on your subject. Simply slip the magnet under a piece of clothing opposite where you need to place the transmitter.

This allows you to get the clearest recording possible regardless of what clothing your subject is wearing.

Ryan Burke from RODE explains the features and benefits of the new MagClip, Interview GO and Wireless GO White below:
