Panasonic releases a new and updated LUMIX Webcam Software (Beta) for Windows and Mac allowing users to use various Panasonic full-frame and MFT mirrorless cameras as webcams. Compatible models include the latest Lumix S5 and also the Lumix S1 full-frame cameras among others. You can see a full list of compatible cameras below.

A few months ago, Panasonic had released a modified version of their Tethered app, which allowed streaming.
Use Your Full-Frame Lumix or Panasonic GH5 as a Webcam
Much like other streaming software from other manufacturers, the Lumix Webcam uses a USB connection and supports 1280 x 960 or 1280 x 720 resolution depending on your live streaming or video conferencing app. You don’t need any other devices except for a USB cable and your compatible Lumix camera.

In addition, the new and upgraded Webcam Software works with the following:
Compatible Panasonic/Lumix cameras:
- Lumix S1H, S1R, S1,
- the newly announced Lumix S5
- and the legendary Panasonic GH5S, GH5, and the Lumix G9
- The Lumix DC-G100/G110 will also be compatible in the future.
It should be noted that this Webcam Software is a beta release, and as any pre-release version, it is still under development.
