Nanlite recently launched the new and updated MixPad II Series RGBWW hard and soft LEDs with new 27C and 11C models.

Both models feature a Hard and Soft light modes and offer a lightweight and portable design. The Nanlite MixPad II 11C is a thin, light-weight 6.5 x 1.4 x 6.5 inch fixture with a very bright output relative to its size. It is powered via a single Sony NP-F style battery.

The new MixPad II series borrow some of the interesting lighting technology from the bigger and more powerful MixPanel LED series.

Powerful, but compact RGBWW LED panels

On the other hand, the MixPad II 27C is a bigger unit measuring at 13.7 x 2.2 x 12.7 inch and uses 2 x Sony NPF style batteries to get power.

Furthermore, the Nanlite MixPad II series feature a unique ability to switch between a “traditional” multi-LED array, a diffuse SMD LED panel and a tuneable RGB array at the push of a button.

Hard/Soft Modes and 0 to 100% Dimming

Both fixtures can be dimmed from 100% to zero in smooth increments and also support a 2700 to 6500K temperature range. In Hard Light mode users also have the ability to change green/magenta shift.

Furthermore, the MixPad II series also offer 360 degrees of hue control with 100 levels of color saturation adjustment, and boast high CRI and TLCI averages of 98 and 95.
