Nanlite has just announced two new affordable LED lights – the Nanlite FS-150 and FS-300 studio monolights for video creators. Pricing starts at $199 and $349 respectively, and you can pre-order both from B&H.

These new daylight fixtures join the already announced Nanlite FS-200 to form a more budget-friendly trio of daylight balanced and powerful LED lights for filmmakers and photographers working mainly in the studio.

Powerful Budget Point-Source LED for Video Creators

Bridging the gap between the Forza 60 and the FS-200, the new Nanlite FS-150 is an AC powered monolight LED engineered to give maximum output while maintaining an even light spread.

Featuring a similar matrix-style LED array as the Nanlite FS-200, the FS-150 also gets a precision-engineered reflector for a powerful output of 26,000+ Lux at 5600K at 1 meter. The FS-150 also boasts high CRI/TLCI scores of 96/98 for faithful color quality.

The FS-300 has an almost identical body design and can output a lot more light – nearly 37,000 lux at 1 meter when paired with the 55-degree reflector. Furthermore, the FS-300 draws about 330w of power, while the FS-150 around 180w.

The new FS-150 and FS-300 (as well as the FS-200) are good alternatives to those, who don’t need DMX or battery powered options (which the more expensive Nanlite Forza 200 and Forza 300/500 have).

Many of you will recall that Aputure also recently released a new Amaran line-up of affordable studio LEDs, which you can read more about in our post here.

Price and Availability

The new Nanlite FS-150 and FS-300 are available to pre-order from B&H here. No word yet on availability, however I’m guessing these are not too far off from shipping sometime in early 2021.
