Meike 50mm T2.1 Full-Frame cine prime is now available to pre-order (with a $50 discount) until Sept. 18th for $909 USD. The lens offers full-frame coverage and is expected to ship end of September.
A First in a New Lineup of Full-Frame Cine Primes
Accoridng to Meike, their new 50mm T2.1 is the first in a new line-up they call FF-Prime Cine Series. Furthermore, the lens has a 45mm image circle with coverage for most common full-frame sensors today such as Sony VENICE and Alexa Mini LF.
In addition, the 50mm T2.1 (and subsequent set) will be available in 6 lens mounts including PL, Canon EF, Canon RF, Sony E, Leica L, and Nikon Z.

A Budget Full-Frame Cine Prime for All Budgets
The 50mm T2.1 FF cine is said to have an industry-standard 0.8mm pitch gears and an optical formula comprised of 12 elements in 8 groups. Furthermore, the diaphragm has an 11 blades aperture for a pleasing bokeh. Also, the minimum focus distance is 60mm and focus throw – a very respectable 330 degrees.

These two cine primes are the first of a new set designed to cover S35 sensors, with some cine primes in the range offering full-frame coverage.
