Delkin Devices 2TB cfexpress

Delkin Devices has just announced a 2TB CFexpress card, that just happens to be the world’s largest CFexpress card to date. A well known brand in the compact flash and other flash-based storage products, Delkin expands their portfolio to include CFexpress Type-B memory cards.

The new Delkin CFexpress cards start at 64GB, and also include 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and now even 2TB capacities. Nevertheless, CFexpress cards are not cheap (yet) but this wide range of capacities gives many options to users, who will be looking at their wallets before buying CFexpress media.

With 8K video capable cameras like the Canon EOS R5 on the horizon, and the already available C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II, we’re bound to see more and more manufacturers in the CFexpress arena. Such was the case with ProGrade, who recently also unveiled their CFexpress card portfolio.

Furthermore, the new Delkin CFexpress Type B memory cards are NVMe Express based, utilizing the 3rd gen PCI Express interface. And they come with some seriously fast recording speeds surpassing 1,430MB/s. Moreover, these cards will be perfect for professional cameras shooting 8K, 6K & 4K at high frame rates and bitrates.

In addition, sports and action photographers can also benefit from these blazing speeds. Continuous RAW burst shooting without delay is also very useful for special events like weddings and concerts.

Delkin say that each of their new CFexpress card has “undergone extensive testing to ensure full functionality and performance in today’s high-end cinematic hosts”. Tested cameras include C500 Mark II & 1D X Mark III, Nikon (Z6 & Z7), and Panasonic (Lumix DC-S1 & S1R).

According to Delkin they are still doing testing the Canon C300 Mark III & EOS R5, as well as the Nikon D6.

48-Hour Replacement Guarantee

As a bonus, every CFexpress card is serialized, and backed by Delkin’s “48-Hour Replacement Guarantee” policy for some extra peace of mind. Thanks to this unique service, Delkin will replace any non-working CFexpress card within 48 hours or less (not including weekends), prior to receiving the non-working card. Cards can also be replaced over-the-counter at any authorized Delkin CFexpress reseller.
