Camera matching plugin CineMatch v1.05 update is now available Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve with a LUT export option. The new LUT Export feature lets you export a LUT with you match settings and use it on set.
In addition, other new features include added standard controls and numeric input in Premiere Pro.
CineMatch v1.05 Update Details:
- LUT Export – users can exported their match settings into a LUT to be used on set
- Premiere Pro gets standard controls as well as numeric input enabled
Note: according to CineMatch this update will overwrite any previously installed version. Therefore, they do not recommend upgrading if you’re in the middle of a critical project.
As a reminder, the previous version v.104 update added the Canon EOS R6 and EOS R5 to the list of supported cameras. You can see a full list of supported cameras (as of version 1.05) at the bottom of this post.
CineMatch plugin – what does it do?
In short, CineMatch is a camera-matching plugin created by the team at FilmConvert. It allows you to match two cameras very quickly with just a few clicks. At the moment the plugin is available for Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
The “one-click” camera matching can save video creators tons of time in the edit, and also provide a balanced starting point for further color finessing in post.
