Canon drops the price on the C200 and C300 Mark II by a cool $1,000! Right alongside the Canon C300 Mark III announcement, Canon also has some price drops on older Cinema EOS camera models.
And, also some of their finest Canon Cine Zooms get huge $10K+ price reductions! See more details an all Canon price drops below.
- Canon C200 – now $5,499 at B&H (was $6499)
- Canon C200B – now $3,999 at B&H (was $4,999)
- Canon C100 Mark II – now $2,699 at B&H (was $2999)

In addition, the Canon CN-E 30-105mm compact telephoto cine zoom is now $9,999! Keep in mind, just days ago, this lens was priced at over $23,200! The price drop represents a $13,000+ price drop.
The other Compact Cine zoom in the range – the Canon CN-5 15.5-47mm T2.8 also gets the same gigantic 50%+ discount, and is now $10K over at B&H! It is worth nothing that these are spectacular lenses used on high end feature films and commercials.
These lenses cover APS-C and Super 35, and are not full-frame, and have been around for some time. The current shift to full-frame/large format cinematography is possibly one of the reasons for the price drop, or maybe there are newer, updated FF lenses in the works.
Of course, the new Canon 25-250mm CN10X25 servo cine zoom can cover full-frame sensors with the built-in extender. You can read more about this incredible lens here.
