Adobe has just announced it will be making Premiere Pro Beta available to a small group of users beta versions. In addition, some of Adobe’s most popular video and audio apps will also be part of the public beta release. The public beta will roll out incrementally over the coming months, until it is available to all Creative Cloud members.
The Adobe Public Beta includes Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Character Animator, and Media Encoder. As such, this program will provide an opportunity for Creative Cloud users to engage directly in product development. Thus, the beta released allows interested users to test new fixes and features before they are released. Beta users can also share their feedback with the Adobe product teams.
Selection on Random Basis
The program will roll out gradually on a random basis, so if you are interested, but don’t have access yet, don’t freak out. Because of the random selection process not all Creative Cloud users will have access.
How Do I Get Access?
When a user gets “beta” access, he or she will see a “Beta apps” tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop app. Beta builds are installed separately from release builds and have their own user preferences.
Users can then run them side by side with your release versions. Adobe will be releasing new Beta builds frequently, sometimes even daily, but you can install them when you choose — once, regularly, or never.
